B.2.6.1

[existing12.5.1.] Notwithstanding the normal determination of Parcel orientation in this Bylaw, the orientation of the following Lots on Plan 6402HX in the hamlet of Harvie Heights shall be considered to have the rear Parcel line adjacent to Bow River Drive or Bow Crescent:

  1. Block 1, Lots 1 to 13;
  2. Block 5, Lots 1 to 8; and
  3. Block 9, Lots 1 to Z.

B.2.10 Livestock Regulations [existing 13.6]

B.2.10.2

The number of chickens allowed within a property shall be at the discretion of the Development Authority in consultation with the Environmental Fieldman, but shall in no case exceed 8 chickens.

B.2.10.2

The keeping of chickens shall:

  1. Not be used for commercial purposes,
  2. Have a suitable and secure enclosure to the satisfaction of the Development Authority,
  3. Not include the keeping of roosters or other poultry, and
  4. Be located a minimum of 9.1 m (30.0 ft) from any property line, but shall in no case be located within the front yard.

The operator shall exercise best practice strategies in order to ensure a healthy, secure and safe operation, to the satisfaction of the Development Authority in consultation with the MD’s Environmental Fieldman.
